Hello everybody, I would like to write about how Halloween celebrates here in Spain. I live in Barcelona and I think celebrations like Halloween are becoming more and more popular year after year... when I was a child (I'm 34) the 1st of November, people used to go to cemetery/graveyard ( I don't know whats the correct word) to put some flowers and to remember their deceased relatives or friends.

By the other side, childs like me, went to the primary school dressed up like chestnut seller (it sounds strange I know). We wore a black skirt, white blouse, apron and a kerchief on our heads. It was a special day because we eat chestnut and sweet potato whith other friends.

This year, however I  saw a lot of childrens dressed up like vampires, witches and other terrorific  characters. If you are from USA and are reading this text probably you are very surprised to know how celebration like Halloween is becoming so popular in Europe. I would appreciate your comments & corrections!!
