Dear Anthony,

As you know I am in Berlin this month and as I promise you, here is my letter!

I’ve always said that visit a different country is a wonderful experience, but now I’m not sure anymore. First of all, you have to choose the correct season. I really don’t recommend you to visit German in winter! I was stunned when you realize that at 3 o’clock is already getting dark and the degrees start to fall very fast. Also the shops close at 6 pm, so you need to take a tee or a beer indoor if you don’t want to freeze.

Berlin is a huge city, I think I’ll don’t have enough time to visit the whole place in a month. Luckily the public transport is very complete; they have buses, underground and tram to go to every part of the city. When I arrive to the airport of Berlin, I asked in the tourist office for the famous places to see, to get a map and understand how public transport works. It was very crowd and so spent one hour there. In that moment I started to feel that the inhabitants are a little fed up with tourist people because they don’t have much patience with them. Like other big cities people, people are usually in hurry and you can see despise in their face when you disturb them.

But don’t worry, I’m enjoying my holiday and I’m beginning to make some friends in the student residence where I live. I’ll write again soon.

Much love,

Xiana
