The language, for example...you can listen to the best spanish pronunciation in Valladolid (in the north) or going to Extremadura (west) and in the north of this area people talk a properly spanish but in the south, we usually "eat" "s" letters and the end of the verbs...What does it mean?
Maybe an example could clarify this...
- "He bajado las cosas del armario" (perfect spanish)
- "He bajao la (s aspirada) cosa (s aspirada) del armario" (we talk in this way in Extremadura and Andalucía)
The north is wet (Galicia, Asturias, País Vasco, Santander, Pirineos...) and the south is hot (Andalucía...). In the north you will enjoy the most beautiful landscapes full of forests, mountains, snow for skiing...and in the south some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. People can be skiing in the north and other people can be sunbathe at the same time in the south, in the same season!
Spain has lots and lots of wonderful contrasts. I'd like to talk about them in my following exercises and about food too!!
The rest of the world is wonderful too, uh? ![]()
