LOs = learning objects

A major problem in education is the adaptation of the didactic content to the student’s knowledge and to his particular way of learning. Tutoring Systems address this challenge by recommending learning objects appropriate to each student’s learning styles. However, in the context of e-learning, Tutoring Systems must deal with their own intrinsic challenges. One of these challenges is to find learning objects that cover the concepts that the learner needs to learn. Ideally, recommended LOs should only cover the concepts students need to acquire.
