The pie chart shows causes of worldwide land degradation in three regions of the world during the 1990s. Over grazing has the highest pro cent of causes affected to agricultural land throughout the period. Another two massive reasons why agricultural land becomes less productive such as over- cultivation and deforestation(28% and 30%). Minor causes have 7% of worldwide land degradation. It is also can be observe by region : North America, Europe and Oceania. The most procent of causes by over grazing belongs to Oceania but it has 0 point in over- cultivation reason while Europe has the highest point (7.7). As well as this it can be observed that deforestation like high causes belongs to Europe too. It could be stressed that this region has more total land degrades than others ( North America the least (15%) and Oceania 13%). In conclusion, we can see that in the 1990s overgrazing have the most interest reasons of degradation. Whereas over cultivation was contrariwise and have the least.
