Explore over the Google Street View! ( which means, the place where we can't see through the Google Street View) Taking 3 hours 新幹線 (Shinkansen) from 東京 (Tokyo), I got to 奈良県 (Nara-ken) where my grandparents live. 奈良県 had been the capitol city of Japan until 1300 years ago, and it's the setting of Japanese Classics. My grandparents' house is close to 法隆寺 (Houryuji), which is the oldest wooden building existing in the world (over 1400-years-old), and also registered as a World Heritage. Even more, many historic sites are near by their house, so we can visit there by bicycle. I'm a small nerd of Japanese History, so I love this historical city! Take a look at these pictures. My grandparents' house is also made of wood, which is totally different from my house in 東京. It has nice gardens called 庭 (Niwa) and せんだい (Sendai), and my friends and I often played 鬼ごっこ (Onigokko) there. Unfortunately, sometimes we broke expensive ornaments or natures on there. When my grandmother noticed it, it's the end of the world. My friends ran away soon leaving me alone, and she put me into 押し入れ(Oshiire, Japanese style closet) and locked me up. Then I have to enjoy absolute dark space for 1 or 2 hours with crying (Actually I felt that time one night or more). See, guys. How brutal Japanese style is!
