TLOZ is one of the best Nintendo series. It mixes a lot of things: exploration, puzzles, sword combat, etc. In each game, you play in a different version of Hyrule with a ton of places and secrets that reward you for exploring, like the heart pieces. Also, the games features dungeons, with a ton of money, combat and puzzles. Some dungeons are very linear but others test your memorization and orientation asking you to find multiple keys and/or activate switches that change all the dungeon at once. Finally, TLOZ have some very good stories that are interconected between ages and games in the official chronology.
