How many times did you hear your mother say: "When I was a Child, We really knew how to have fun..."? For ages, young people always have had a lot of difficulties to enter in the "adult" or "professional" world but I do not agree with the topic "Life was easier for people fifty years ago".
First of all, 50 years ago people were in a dictatorship, so they have no freedom, and almost no rights. They could not just read a "forbbiden" book or a "forbbiden" newspaper. They could not express their opinion in public, neither in private. If someone heard you, they could acuse to you to the police and could end in prison.
In addition to this, in a tecnological way, they were totally lost! They have no internet or celullar phone, as well as messenger or mail. They have no choice to comunicate each other unless they were at home. Also, Comunication became more difficult if you were avoid, because telephone calls were too much expensive and you must use a pencil and a paper...to write a letter!! (I am sure some young people don't know what a letter is!).
So, in conclusion, I think young people lived better 50 years ago than young people do now because, It's true they have no tecnology and some rights, but their enviroment was better and healthy, they had not as much contamination as we have know, and they were happy with inventing and playing their games.
