Nowaday I often watch TED movies onlikne. For instance:
http://www.ted.com/talks/arianna_huffington_how_to_succeed_get_more_sleep
In this presentation she emphasized the importance of enoght sleep and said "We are literally going to sleep our way to the top, literally.". And then the audience laughed.
I didn't understang this meaning. "OUR WAY is the object of SLEEP??" I checked out the translated scription, it says the folloeing:
"眠ることによって トップの座を得るのです".
I know, but it's not enough for them to burst out laughing. Someting is hidden in this wording...
Finaly I found out this has paticular sence. She had never forget to add "literally".
If we say it in Japanese, that is "枕営業". Wow! I definitely should do a seach unfamiliar words!!
