Liverpool was just a small port town in the 17th century but developed rapidly via trading with Virsinia of the United States and with the West Indian Islands. But that didn't last long.

After WWII, the city's economy began to turn down and many people lost their jobs.

Tourism buisiness can be a key for its recovery. Above all, the city is rich in cultural facility like museum, or art galery, and well known as the birthplace of Beatles. The two famous football clubs of the city, Liverpool and Everton, are also the city's sales point.

New hotels and shopping malls are being built one after another around the port and that makes the historical port much more attractive place. Liverpool is making a drastic change.
