What about Stalin he was a tyrant. While the imperial authority became weak then communists seized the power under own control. It was easy at that time because already had been strongly increased the tension among the crowd and intelligency. Stalin had been eliminating each other who was not agree with him over all period his reign. There was people from the senior management and also common citizens. In this way Stalin by keeping people in the fear held power in their hands. I didn't catch that period. But I saw closed borders and minimal info from the West. May be it was right. The patchwork Europe always has greedly looked at our vast territory. And we Russians don't share the land to somebody nevertheless don't doing smth useful on it. Except  extraction of natural resources. Which we sell abroad. but what was wouldn't saying then with Stalin our country's manufacture was reborn. And Russia still biggest country. So I wrote turn out some patriotic essay. )) But most movies I watch are Hollywood's. I think globalisation will come not via economics but via the movie industry and technology.
