Thousands years ago someone picked up a stone neither very large nor very small- let´s say one a human being could carry without breaking their back- shook the dust away and set it in an especial place, maybe the site in which a loved was one already buried. Maybe the site in which he or she had had a spiritual experience that marked his identity for the rest of his life.

Probably someone else set another stone later beside or on top of the first one, added a few meaningful objects and standing up thinking about it, contemplating the insignificance of the human being before the Cosmos, the Nature and the Time. And although this act may seem too humble to our eyes- we can´t consider that such a “monument”- in some way it transformed that place forever, giving it an enormous emotional bond to combat oblivion.
