I live in Vila Isabel, a neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. I live in thirteenth floor, and from my windows I can see a lot of things. One of those things are Tijuca Forest, the biggest urban forest of the world! I can see a litte piece of Christ Redeemer, that is located in Tijuca National Park. From the other window I can see downtown Rio de Janeiro and the temple of soccer - Maracanã.
I can see one of the most important universities from Rio de Janeiro - UERJ, that belongs to Rio de Janeiro Estate. People don't pay anything to study there, but to get in it is too dificult.
But... there is a sad view: from every window there is a sight of many favelas. The nearest is Favela da Mangueira. It is one of the most traditional favela (now the correct term is comunity) in Rio. From Mangueira we have Mangueira Samba School, one of the most popular samba school of the country, and which colors are green and rose. Many compositors and singers that were really important to brazilian samba were born there.
Thank you for reading this and help me!
