In my years as a Biotechnology student I have realized that many young people, including myself, my classmates and other students at the natural science campus, does not have access to reliable information sources. This due to the expensive subscriptions cost for most of the high quality newspapers and magazines, which often are the only reliable places with the information require for school works or other academic purposes. Limited access to online or print information also limits the potential of students and teachers forced to work with outdated and untrustworthy material.

To solution the problematic mention above I suggest the college to invest in scientific journals like Science AAAS and Nature magazine or scientific encyclopedias like EPSCO which have a wide variety of papers, data bases, academic libraries and much more. The latter mention would be a much more convenient option if the budged is not sufficient to cover more than one magazine, taking in consideration that with wider information source like a scientific encyclopedia, which adds new information to itself every month, the students would have access to much more material.

The online subscriptions are easy to manage and can be added as a benefit to the collegeĀ“s students tuition, the access to the material could be as well  through the academic email account of every teacher and student registered in the campus.

In my opinion this could be an amazing opportunity not only for students or teachers but also for the institution to form better scholars and academics.
