I have known Mr. Lee for over 4 years. He was first a student of Music Appreciation-from Baroque to Modern in my class in National xxxx University. I can feel his passion for music when he discussed with me about the musician he likes and the piece of work he had ever played before. But it was when he invited me to come to his semester music concert that I realize he was such a versatile performer. He attended multiple musical band on campus, like Chinese Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. I was completely amazed when he conducted the whole orchestra on the stage with confidence and pride. There was no surprise when I heard the news that he and his Chinese Orchestra had won the second prize in the National Student Music Competition.
Besides, Mr. Lee was also a gifted virtuoso when he started taking my pianos lessons. I am deeply impressed by his fast learning ability despite he was not fully trained since very young age, he is able to memorize the score in a very short time. What makes me more surprised is his technique of improvisation on the keyboard. I could still remember when he partner with another student in my class, playing 1st and 2nd Hungarian Dance of Brahms, arranged in Piano Duet version. He cleverly combined two pieces of music in a very interesting way and exchange sit with his partner at the same time. Watching him play the Piano was just pure enjoyment.
