Lo squillo del telefono lo svegliò verso le due. Giovanni riuscì a trovare il ricevitore solo dopo che ebbe aperto gli occhi. “Pronto, chi parla?” chiese. Dall’altro capo del filo una voce rispose: “Faresti meglio a correre in via Repubblica”, poi riattaccò senza che Giovanni avesse il tempo di chiedersi il motivo di una tale telefonata.
