Nowadays a diploma degree loses its significant point in a getting a satisfied job. Although some support the idea that completing an institution of higher education is the best way to find a job, others, however, myself included, do not support this statement. They reckon that a having more experience and soft skill will play a vital role on the job hunting. I will examine both views and explain why I agree that the former opinion is not that good as it may seem.

Those who advocate this educational role argue that the university gives not only knowledge but the practical skills as well. There are some laboratories and workshops where students can have a possibility to get an experience. Yet some jobs are demand more knowledge skills and without education there is no chances to become a doctor, for example. Moreover, the university is not only an academic centre where students get their degree, but it is a sign for employee that graduates from the prestige university is more responsible and well qualified.

Others argue that getting experience and developing soft skills is the best way to get a good job. Indeed, in the last decade, the research shows that employee tend to hire people with more practical skills and already with some years of working that a graduate student from the high-ranking university. Many outsourced HR advisory companies in UK recommend to students chose university in London or another big cities than in Oxford or Cambridge in order to get an experience in an international corporations while their study. Based on their survey there is more chances to find a job after university if students already work somewhere.

In conclusion, experience and soft skills play more important key for being employed.
