I don’t suppose that students have summer vacation homework. Students usually have to do plenty of homework in whole semester. Most of them often spend all night writing assignments and even reviewing lessons to prepare tomorrow’s exams. In that way, they absolutely don’t have spare time to develop other habits and have fun to release the pressure accumulated all along. Although some people might argue that students will be idle all day while summer vacation, in fact, it provides them a chance to plot unique schedules by themselves rather than wasting time. For example, I have had cycling tour around Taiwan in last summer vacation. I compelled myself to run all schoolyard three times a week. Then prepared all things I need in detail so that I could achieve this goal. Finally I accomplished this plan, the thing what I gain is more meaningful than doing homework. Therefore, I believe it is better for student to not have summer vacation homework, it let them have extra time to do other interesting thing, and bring them an amazing result.
