The most serious problems which all of countries have been facing are environmental issues caused by human activities. Because of dangerous calamities, some experts suggest that the rise price of energy will be the best way to tackle harmful consequences. However, from my point of views, I consider that this has not the most perfect measure yet.
It is irrefutable that the demand for energy has impacted to the environment negatively through emitting more and more greenhouse gases, especially carbon dioxide which causes to increase the global’s temperature. As a result of this, there are huge catastrophic results for the planet such as floods, food shortages, droughts, etc. From all above-mentioned reasons, if the cost of fuel increases, the need of using energy will be restricted that can avert some serve impacts of global warming
On the other hand, when the expenditure on petrol climbes, production costs will go up simutaneously. Then these possibly force to rocket the price of goods which can make living standard become poorer. In addition, the high cost of materials can make the economy goes down because customers will limit their demands or only pay for necessary things.
For these reasons, it can be said that the rise cost of petroleum is not the best way to solve environmetal problems. Individuals, organizations as well as authorities should find other measures. Taking sources of renewable energy such as wind, solar power or nuclear power as a typical example, they can be deployed because these kinds of power help to reduce CO2 emission to an acceptable level. Futhermore, every country should propose policies about environmental protection. For instance, companies have to assure that their activities only affect to the environment insignificantly and they will be servely punished if they break their commitment.
In conclusion, if people look at both sides of the issue, the rise price of oil is unable to become the most optimal solution to cope with many dangerous environmental consequences. Every countries should find another method which enable to keep balance between the benefits of the economy and ecosystem’s protection.
