Let is start saying a simple definition about what a teacher is, "it is someone who has been trained for a specific propouse which is to teach to diferent kind of people of distinct ages". Now coming back to the main topic, it can be considered it has its advantages and disadvantages which are going to be shown below.

Speaking of advantages it must taken into accout that a teacher is utterly significant into the teaching-learning process, obviously is that one who knows a certain subject deep inside and can be seen as a source of good information where someone can easily get,but aside from that if an individual alreay has any information but have doubts he/she can resort to the teacher to ask clarifications about what could not be done by themselves.

Moreover, might be most people have experienced that a teaher can be a good motivator, which is good when studing a particular subject, without it a lesson would be boring and nothing pleasent to learn something. From my point of view and as I mentioned before a teacher was trained to teach and apply varied strategies and methodologies that maybe a self-taugh person can not be succed to do by itself.

In another hand to be independant allow to study anytime being a flexible learning procees, because it is up to people when focusing on it or not. Besides to be autonomous learning something can be more enjoyable inasmuch as there are not preausres as those ones that could exist when teachers are monitoring in a classroom.

It is well know that being autodidact motivate ourselves to know something else that maybe can nnot be found in a classroom or it is eassier to find outusing diferent resources(books, websites,dictionaries,and so on) which can be considered appropieate and helpful for the individual's educational process.

Finally, I can say that the teacher's role into a classroom is extremly necessary but taking into account this one is just a guide, actually it is considered that the students must take place of a lesson in about 80% and a teacher just about 20%, which shows things have already changed and we are not in a traditional eduction anymore where all seemed to be quite different. I truly believe both are pretty good deppending on people needs.
