Massive cost cut and cheper air fare are both possible if we introduce "standing seats" to the aircraft - A Malaysian expert revealed the idea in the latest issue of the aviation journal. He predicts that this plan can come true in 5 years.

The concept of "standing seat" was first presented by xxxx Romli, an aviation engineering professor at the Putra University. He intended to make airfare cheap as low as one for buses and trains.

Based on the result of the simulation with Boeing 777-300, the expert estimates that flight companies can take 21 percent more passengers per flight and can offer 41 percent cheaper tickets.
