Before to start, I have to say that along lifetime, from we are born until we die, our capable of sleep is very different.

In the first time, when we are babies we spend long hours sleeping, even we are able to sleep on highly noisy places, since we aren’t aware our around. Some children have nightmares and they awake crying in the middle on the night.

Later on, meanwhile we are growing up, we start to use the clock alarm and we get used to controlling our sleep, but until this don’t happen, very often, we fall asleep in places where we shouldn’t do it. Everyone has overslept someday and has been late at school.

On the adulthood appear most of sleeping problems. Some of these troubles are caused by work. People who have shift work don’t get used to sleeping in different hours of day. Or if you are travelling to another time zone by business, likely we will suffer jet lag and it will take you some days to be used to new timetable.

Lastly, on the old age is when we sleep less time. A lot of elderly people take sleeping tablets because they don’t get to sleep or they only get a few hour’s sleep a night. Most of them are retired, who are used to getting up early and nowadays they have plenty of time or widowers who miss their partners.

As far as I am concerned, fortunately I haven’t any problem to get sleep and I fall asleep quickly, according my wife too fast, maybe she is jealous because she never is sleepy. I have to admit that I sleep like a log and I snore a little bit however I stop snore when I change position. The only drawback is that I need darkness in the room.

To conclude, I have to say that there are many factors that affect sleep but it’s essential forget our daily worries before go to sleep, making an suitable atmosphere and if you have the opportunity it would be perfect practicing sport during the day.
