There are many reasons that can discourage a teacher to keep moving forward, for example, when they spend lots of time on preparing the lectures but realize that students don’t make any progress, I believe teachers who encounter this situation must be frustrated. However, working too hard should not be a main reason that defeats a teacher.

No matter what kind of occupations, people should always do their best and work as hard as they can. The reason why people work hard is they expect to receive a good result from their hard work. If hard work pays off, the sense of achievement can continually drive people to move forward. In other words, if a hard working teacher can positively impact their students on their study or life, no matter how much time and effort they have to spend, things worth when hard work lead to a great result. Instead of burning out, I believe the experience of teaching can even be turned into the ingredients to make a good teacher.
