Some people prefer to live in places that have the same weather or climate all year long. Others like to live in areas where the weather changes several times a year. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

Human activities and also human moods strongly depend on the weather or climate. There are places, like these close to the equator where the weather is nearly the same along the year and others, like those in higher latitudes, where the weather strongly varies along the year. Given the choice to live in any kind of these places, I would choose the latter, that is places where the weather changes many times in the year. To champion my point of view I will discuss the benefit of changes produced by such changes in weather as regards food and activities.<!--break-->

First of all, owing to the variation in the weather, foods especially those provided by agriculture are varied over the year. In other words, as lot of fruits or vegetables grow in specific weather conditions, changes in weather provide another variation in these types of food on top of the one naturally provided. For instance in France, while we can have vitamin C from citrus fruits in summer, we have that vitamin in winter mostly from apples. At the other end of the spectrum, countries with a little or no varying weather get their nutrient from the same kinds of fruits and vegetables all along the year, relying therefore heavily on importation when looking for variety.<!--break-->

Furthermore, changes in weather also mean changes in activities or entertainments. That is, in weather changing countries they have the possibility to have different activities, depending on the period of the year. For instance, while in summer people can enjoy swimming or taking a sun bath on a beach, in winter they can enjoy all the activities related to snow such as ski.<!--break-->

As a conclusion, as changes in the weather has a valuable impact on our lives as regards foods or our activities, I prefer living in a place where the weather changes several time a year.
