When I started to study at UFBA,  I didn't know much about English. The only thing that I knew was the verb "to be" which i learned in the secondary school. I have always liked English, but I never had the opportunity of taking a course and I never had books and I didn't have access to the internet and multimedia. The time passed and I saw that to start to studying at university would be a way of learning English free and I will be able to be an English teacher.

I did not know that the elementary English of UFBA was different to school, but the English at university is more difficult than school. So, I had much difficulty in understanding the classes and to learn the subject, so i spent two studying elementary English and i realised that i needed to study a lot so, i made my strategy for learning English

My study routine is this: I study English everyday but I but I do different things for learning English. for example: I study with graduation book, I watch an English-language TV series everyday for 30 minutes, because this help me to understand spoken English. I study English grammar. I Have two grammar books; "essential grammar in use" and "gramatica prática da língua inglesa, e nelson torres. i study on a capes website and i study at profici three time a week i talk with people from other countries. i have a friend that lives in the uk and i always talk with him in  skype. he helps me a lot so i learn a lot with him. i learn the holy bible in the english version at church
