This thought has come into my mind several times. Nowadays to have a good quality of life in my country seems to be a hard task, no matter what you are or what you have done my generation seems to be bound to achieve the minimum to survive.

Before carry on, I will introduce myself. My name is Estefany and I’m a 24 years-old industrial engineer from Venezuela. I have had to see off some friends and coworkers, obviously I have felt as well that the only way to overcome my self-expectations is by starting a new life abroad.

Well that’s true, I could leave my family and with effort to have a better life, the problem is that I couldn’t be happy. You might be asking why?

Let me tell you a simply thing: I STILL BELIEVE IN US AND I’M SURE THAT WE WERE BLESSED FOR BEING BORN IN HERE.

Venezuela is the country with most oil in the world, Should we have economics problems?

Venezuela has rivers, mountains, deserts, beautiful beaches, snowy peaks, The Angel Falls which is the highest waterfall in the world,  among others things so, Couldn’t we support us from tourism?

To whoever may be interested, Venezuela is the country with most crowns from beauty contests and also we had in 2008 a Guinness Record for being the happiest people of the world. Shouldn’t we be like that again?

Then the answer is simple, I don’t want to live abroad because even if I had a better life, I couldn’t be here doing my bit, and that would make me feel incomplete.
