SimBio is a Biotechnology company, the only one in the state which offers water purification and sewage water treatment, among other services, with their innovational and ecological system based in microorganisms.

The company is now offering new work-experience placements for science students who are currently on their last semesters. This positions are into our Laboratory studies department. Each place involves a similar list of responsibilities and tasks which are present bellow.

For the Laboratory studies department:

Positions: Laboratory manager’s second assistant, Microbiological assay manager’s assistant and Laboratory security manager’s assistant.

In order to apply it is important to consider the following requirements:

• Access to own computer.
• Advance knowledge in microbiology area.
• Experience in routinely laboratory assays.
• Basic knowledge for Microsoft office programs.
• Manage both English and Spanish languages.

Important note: In order to fulfill with these positions it is required to complete 30 hours work every week, the specific arrange would be discuss with the area supervisor. This hours would be completed from Monday to Saturday either in morning or evening schedule.  

The company offers validation of working hours by school credits, recommendation letter, an opportunity to be hired after complete with the university’s subjects and credits and also a work practices certification.
