I had attended a conference as a Ph. D student in last week.
In the conference, I had a chance to hear the presentation by a British professor.
I thought that his spoke British English.
But an American professor taught me that was Scottish English.
It is difficult distinguishing dialects in English for me.
Anyway, his presentation was understandable.

Hello. I would make a shorts sentence in which I would say that learning a language shouldn't be useless and learning a language shouldn't be a waste of time. So I would say that we're learning languages to use them in our lives. Could you please tell me what should I say (what does sound better): A language is for life OR Language is for life OR Language is about life OR some other variant. ?
