Covid has obliged the society to take advantage of technology and internet and to suddenly stop working on site but to do it remotely. Some people believe that online working will never replace on site working. However, there are several arguments in favour of the former.

Moreover, the working environment is frequently much more quiet at home rather than at the office, where you can repeatedely listen to a collegue complaining about some problem, a meeting near your desk or a strike surrounding the building.

To sum up, I consider that the reduction on the traffic is the most important advantage of working from home, because it is not only a single employee that benefits from it but the whole society and the environment too.

There is a debate on the duty of teaching children how to be good members of society belong to the parents or school is widely discussed. In long term perspective, I am in favor of the parents and the school is compulsory to teach the children be good to society to some extent.

To start with the influence of the parents, there is no doubt that the parents are the first teacher of children and the family member they spend most of time to live together before they go to university. In other word, the children will observe their parent’s attitude toward the society and the way they treat people. So the influence from parent should not be neglected. Furthermore, some statics show the children was misleading due to the absence of education from parents. For example, my parents always punished me when I did something wrong, thus I realize how to distinguish the right thing and the wrong thing.

The demerits of lacking sufficient education from school can not be neglected. People always say the school like small society, the children can make friends and learn some techniques from the book and their teachers. So the school play and very important role to teach the children to be good members of society. For example, the teachers will teach the children how to get along with other peoples, how to build correct world view via some school activities.

In conclusion, the parents and the school should work together and teach the children to be good person, it would lead to the society become better.

The graph depicts the main causes of worldwide land degradation, which could be divided into four sectors, over-grazing, over-cultivation, deforestation and other.

From the pie chart, it is obvious that the over-grazing is the most important factor of land degradation which occupy around 35%. However, the percentage of deforestation and over-cultivation should no be neglected because its occupy total in 58%.

From the table, the data showed the percentage of causes of land degradation in XX, XX and XX area in 1990, different with XX and XX, the over-cultivation sector occupy 3.3% higher than other two sectors. However, the total land degraded of XX was 5%, less than other two regions. In XX, the total land degradation reached 23%, higher than XX and XX.

In long term perspective, land degradation will have bad influence to our life and next generation, we should protect the land from now on.
