My name is Ana. I come from Romania, but I live in Norway nowadays. I am working as a custom process administrator and I love my job. It makes me feel important in one way. I want to learn English and Norwegian languages. This is my dream. Unfortunately, I am not so good in both of them. At least not at the level I want to be. Hello, I am brasilian and I look for someone who wants to talk by skype, I want to improve my English
Recently I've been translating Japanese pop song lyrics to English for practice. I'm enjoying it, I think it's my thing. But everytime I try to do that, there are some difficult problems I have to face .
My daughter worked at other city. We have chatting by phone every week once or twice. We talk about everything-- Such as media, literature, music, juvenile delinquency, even homosexual. We love each other deeply, but we never say “I love you” in Chinese for each other. someday ,my daughter call me :”mum, are you all ok?””I am ok, what is matter?”I said. She told me sadly:” my friend’s mother suffer from stomach cancer. If you feel not well ,you must tell me early.”I am touched. Next morning, she sent me a message: “妈妈，我爱你！”。
Bolero is one of my favorite music and represents and intense cultural aspect to me. Bolero started in Cuba and Spain later on arrived to my country Mexico. Nowadays Luis Miguel is one of the most famous bolero singers in Mexico and listen his songs make me feel joy and motivates me. When I am with my friends I also like to listen my favorite music, we usually gather over one of our homes and we sing our best-loved songs. Moreover, music is an important part in my life because remain me some special moments in my life.
As my imagination is quite limited, I have decided to start kind of a diary, so I can write about my day without the need to use my poor inventiveness and I have the opportunity to pratice my english.
To start from the beginning, this morning I had to wake up early as I have to give an speech tomorrow afternoon and I needed to rehearse a bit.
My next thoughts are the basic for my next speech. I'm a fan from toastmasters. This is an incredible community to learn how to speak for an audience without fear. I have done ten speeches so far. My next step: I'd like to inspire the audience. And I need a fantastic funny or serious mean not boring topic. To make the own house cosy is one good thing you agree? But to make it complicated to turn on lights is really weird right? I'm happy to have a boyfriend who find out faster than others what's going on in our technical world.
