日本人はビールや酒といったアルコールが好きな人が多いです。これは初対面ではなかなか打ち解けない日本人にとってアルコールが強力な武器になってくれるからだと思います。ただ日本人は全体的にアルコールの分解酵素を持っている人が非常に少ないのですぐに酔っ払って羽目をはずす人も多くいます。お酒とは上手に付き合って行きたいものですね。

Can I use the word ethic-technological to refer to both the ethical and the technological aspects of something?

Last week I enrolled on a course from Edx about written english,  I went by through the first week with no problems, once week one was over I start realizing how ignorant I am about written english, particularly about books, I  barely know the names of Mark Twain,  Charles Dickens and Shakespeare, and even worse I haven't read any book in english ever!

When it comes to the issue of the important invention in the last 50 years, the effect of smartphones cannot be over emphasized. Different from our last generation, smartphones have gradually become an indispensable part of the modern life because of several reasons. First, smartphones are convenient in many aspects. Although its size is a little bigger than the traditional cellphone, it can carry much more functions than the cellphones in the past.

On the one hand, I would like to be a luxurious red sport car with leather seats. I would like to drive around the streets and notice everybody is looking at me. But I couldn't jump in it wearing my pajama pants because, if you have a red sport car,  you have to play the role or the people can think that you don't deserve it. You couldn't be yourself. On the other hand, I would like to be an old car with blue paint and a few dents that explain some stories about how and when it happened.

My wife doesn't like lightnings. When she was young her mother was afraid of them, and when there was an electric storm he ordered my wife and her brothers to hide in the cellar. If the storm happened at night she awoke and took them to the cellar. Nowadays neither my wife nor her brothers like lightnings.  My mother didn't like lightnings either, but when my brother and I were young, she worried about we didn't discovered her fear. That's why neither me nor my brother are afraid of lightnings.

I'm not a catholic neither do I bielieve in something, I am an atheist for many  reasons, among others the spread of hate between religions I see on TV,  but  what Pope Francis has done and said in recent times brings a new image about the catholic church, modernizing its position about controversial topycs like abortion and same sex marriage, also his austere style of life is an example of a person prasing with actions.

Multitasking is a new concept, it means doing two or more activities at the same time,  it might seem like a skill people could learn with some practice. Lets consider two situations, first singing while playing an instrument  and seccondly someone checking its phone and having a real life conversation, both have one thing in common, they involve doing two different activities at the same time.

During the last century North America experienced many changes. Economic, social, and cultural changes, but when we talk out urban changes the reasons for it is kind of different than others. What do you think those reasons are?
