Tokyo has been a big and multi national city. I can't see the moden culture of Japan over threre. Japan has a long history that turned out to be a culture I live with. I wanted to try to say that I should care about Japanese culture more than ever because that is a wonderful present from past.

I attended my younger son's entrance ceremony. He become elementary school student today. I hope He enjoy new life and enjoy to study.

Today i saw the movie Still Alice in the theater. The film is about Alice, a renowned linguist that is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer´s disease.

My dog isn't good condition. I'm worry,so I'll go to animalhospital tomorrow.

When my father was born, in  January 1875, people used to live in a way not different from the Romans' one: oil lamps were used to light, people used to travel in carriages and sail on sailers. Light bulbs did not exist, nor telephones, nor anything that electricity entails today. The 80% of the population used to work the earth, a similar percentage was illiterate. People used to die of a simple infection, few used to go to school, culture was the privilege of an élite.

I've been in Dublin for two weeks, I found I hardly keep up with the Irish people when they are talking. Of course, I cannot communicate with them  freely for I don't know how to express the ideas correctly, just be able to speak several words not a complete sentence which is comptibe to the syntax of English. I'm trying to seek more opportunities to practice and I'm planning to get an volunteering job, which will provide more practice for me as I assumed.

Me personally or as a Japanese, being busy is sort of our pure believe who have being a valuable life. Japanese don't really know how to do nothing and then the beauty of doing nothing is the one of the goal of all Japanese or the others. I think we need to find a different model of life thoughts.

Nowadays, we have so many possibilities to help us learning a language. Of course there are grammar books and we can also speak with native speakers of the language we are studying. But in my opinion, the most powerful resource is the internet. You can find articles, videos, blogs, meet people and all that for free.

how do you speak when you can't communicate with others in a country where they don't speak in your mother's tongue?

I have three solutions for this problem.

1, speak with only an word

2, use gestures

3, do nothing(don't communicate with others)
