Acceptance letter
Dear Mrs Stephens,
We received the letter in which you notified us that Pedro Pepper, our son, had been allocated a place in the nursery. Firstly, thank you very much for offering us a place. Secondly, I’m very sorry for the late reply; we changed address and I forgot to let you know about it. The couple that now lives at our former address gave us your letter, but unfortunately by the time we got the letter it was already too late for us to meet the 20th of May deadline.
Regarding the place that has been offered to Pedro, we would have very much liked to send him to your nursery, but due to the delays caused by COVID we haven’t yet been able to obtain a driving license. Therefore, it would be difficult for us to take him all the way to Cool School. We remain, however, within the catchment area of your school and it’s still our intention that Pedro receive his primary education at Cool School. So, we’ll reapply when the time comes. Apropos of this, could you please tell us if there’s a waiting list for primary school education?
Regarding the letter that we received, should we complete all the fields and send it to you by post or is this not necessary anymore?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Me
