Hello, My name is Jessica and i born, raised and educated in Mexico City. Currently, i am studying actuarial science and i would like to study a master in some english-speaker country. i have been studying english for several years but  i still have to improve my english. i believe that one of my principal limitations is that my country is so difficult to practice because just some people speak english.

Everyone strives to succeed in life. We all know that real life is extremely unpredictable, so it is difficult to be sure which particular features really influence our success. However, I am pretty sure that the extremely important person's characteristic which helps to be successful is intelligence. I will try to proof my idea with two reasons. To begin with, an intelligent person more likely achieves the ambitious career goals even in difficult situation. My family provides me with great example approving this assumption.

So, your arguments against the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit can be summarized as follows: (1) We don't see great miracles today. (2) The gifts were intended for the benefit of unbelievers and not for the benefit of believers. The apostles did not benefit from miraculous healing. (3) The miraculous gifts were intended to help the development of the early Christian church, which was childish and undeveloped as compared to our present church. Let's examine these points one by one.

Dear W, Thank you for your message. Obviously, it would be ideal to inspect and/or clean the optical fibre before requesting a visit from a technician. This would allow us to know exactly what we would be requesting the technician to do for us. However, to get the fibre scope and/or the fibre cleaner from the relevant providers we would need to wait at least two months due to paperwork-related issues.

Dear X , below you'll find the last emails that I received from W. As you can see, the most likely explanation is a damaged optical fibre. The technician suggested we use a tool called fibre scope to examine the tip of the fibre. As far as I know, we do not have such a tool. Am I right? He also suggested we buy a fibre cleaner liquid in order to try and fix the problem. However, I believe that buying this product would require at least three months. Hence, it does not seem like a viable solution.

Corinthians 13 is the only passage to which people can appeal in order to try to demonstrate that the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit are no longer operative. However, notice that even a cursory examination of the text shows that the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit are still with us. For instance, Corinthians 13:8 talks not only about the gift of tongues and the gift of prophecy, but also about the gift of knowledge. Has knowledge of God also disappeared from the face of the Earth? Of course not.

Is it correct to say "time goes always the same" or "time goes always as well as"?

I´m writing about a text which talks about the perception of time: Times flyes when you are having fun or when your attention is really enganged in an activity. I´m trying to say that time doesn´t fly or drag, It is always the same, the difference is your perception of that time.

Dear Mr. X, I am a postdoctoral fellow that works in Dr. Y’s group at the W institute located in Bologna. We own a Nikon Eclipse 2000-E laser scanning confocal microscope equipped with a scan head. Last week we noticed some strange artefacts in our confocal images. I am enclosing two confocal images of a rhodamine B film. The images were recorded using two different lasers (405 and 488 nm). Please notice that the illumination pattern is inhomogeneous and that there are bright lines across the image.
