This writing is about a traditional fair that is celebrated each year in my city, Medellín. The name of the fair is "the fair of flowers", and as the name indicates it is related with al kind of flowers. The name is due to the fact that Medellín is also named the city of eternal spring. The celebration usually is done in the month of August for a complete week.

Nowadays there are lots of properties occupied and these situations usually tend to be “solved” with repression and violence. I believed this is a worrying social problem which deserves careful analysis and not precisely a quick and brutal eviction. Firstly, it exists other ways to resolve this kind of problems.

For many months I've been watching a football trainer (or a soccer coach? I'm not sure which might work better. Probably the first expression is used in the UK, while the second one in the US?) He coaches very young boys. First I met him on the big school stadium where I used to jog. Before the pandemic hit the stadium had been repaired and then closed for strangers\outsiders. However, the little company - a man and his trainees - moved to the small soccer playground situated next to my house.

I like to cook even when I am not a professional in it. when I am alone I cook so well but when I have company I had to do something wrong unintentionally. by overdose some of the ingredients or overcooked others. I think the reason for that is because I get nervous trying to make people love me by my cook. oh God, I am just like Monica from Friends the TV show :D

Reading is a very important and crucial component of our life. We read when we want to order something in a restaurant, or when we prepare a specific food using a recipe. However, reading goes beyond simple letters written in a paper. It helps us to have an understanding of the world so that we can expand knowledge and open our minds to new horizons. When people read, they start to generate ideas, solve problems and be more creative in life. No matter if we read with a book or phone, the idea is to do it regularly.

I'm trying to substitute speaking with writing even though I'm almost sure that these are two different skills. I'm a bit demotivated at the moment and learning the language seems pretty tiresome. It happens on and off, and usually I try to do my minimum on such days.
